Judas Kiss (U.K.), review of Triumph of the Williams

David E. Williams is something very special. He somehow manages to liquidise catchy pop tunes with class keyboard back-drops, with the most perversely lavish lyrics imaginable. "You're the most perfect woman, this side of Myra Hindley", he croons with a voice that holds the pomposity of Morrisey, the glamour of marc Almond and the power of Nick Cave. But he also has something else - a humor which lies side by side with atrocity. Every song is a complete gem which you will find yourself singing throughout the dark, creepy nights. The four tracks are presented on blood red vinyl with a lyric sheet (limited to only 666 copies) which would have given Hitler a laugh. Possibly.
